After 2 decades of starting, and running several businesses, I want to pay forward the lessons and strategies I have learned. I have had several coaches throughout my years in business and each one have been invaluable for me to reach the next level of success. I knew one day, I too, wanted to be the person that would impact people as those coaches did for me. After contemplating “when is the right time for me to become a coach?” I decided there is no good reason to wait. Businesses need coaches! The impact coaches have on businesses provides stability- for owners, staff and communities.

My professional career started in banking. After over 10 years building a career, I took my experience working with businesses and building teams to my own marketing company. I started as a solopreneur with outside partner relationships. After 5 years of growth, I needed more resources and who better than my husband. At this point, I hired my first coach. In order to take this business to the next level and sustain my family of 4, I knew I wanted to shorten the learning curve and skip some costly and painful lessons. I worked with this coach for a few years and learned so much. My team grew and so did my business. Over the years, our business, as others, have faced big challenges such as economic recessions, technology advances and changes, social changes, a global pandemic, and competing with our own government for employees due to excessive government unemployment payouts. During many of these, I have had the guidance and support of business coaches and one of which was an ActionCOACH.

We have helped other businesses grow through marketing efforts and along the way many conversations beyond marketing. It isn’t a rarity to talk with our clients about recruitment, staffing, sales, company culture, growth goals and service challenges. Through all that, I proved that success and growth is possible. In recent years, my husband and I have started a real estate investment company. Through that venture, we continue to learn many more lessons. Over the years, the excitement of learning and growing as only increased. So why not start 2 more businesses in the same year?!? When you see a path to success, growth and fulfillment I believe you should take it. With this outlook, my husband and I have started a private virtual golf club and now my coaching business.

My goal is to not only bring the business training and insights of ActionCOACH but also my vast personal business experience. I will be committed to your growth and work very hard to position you for the achievement of all your BIG HAIRY AUDACIOUS goals. Don’t have any in mind? We will build them! We will achieve them!

I have worked in many different industries over the years but one thing that never changed was my desire to teach and help people advance in their careers. I started my career as an English teacher and I still teach today at my own real estate school, The Nebraska Academy of Real Estate. My career includes a diverse range of jobs such as being a school principal, Vice President at Archer Daniels Midland, Vice President at Doane College, and now as a residential realtor and real estate instructor. As a coach with ActionCOACH Lincoln, I will provide insight, advice, guidance, and accountability to ensure your growth as a business owner and take your business to the next level.

I have experience working with companies both large and small. As a Vice President at Archer Daniels Midland, I was responsible for over $250 million in Sales/revenue Yearly. As a realtor I have also had the opportunity to work with home buyers at various stages of their life and various budgets, while still applying the knowledge I learned early in my career with ADM. It is because of these experiences that I believe I can provide you with the necessary guidance to grow your company!

I strongly believe that in order to have a successful business, you must have excellent customer relationship skills. I do not see my clients as just my customers. I know that in order to be successful, you must first build positive relationships with all of your customers. I keep in contact with my sales managers from my over 20 years at ADM all these years later. By choosing to work with me, you’re not only getting a business coach, you’re also getting a friend.
